Changing Your Passwords
Novell Account
While logged in, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and strike the delete key once. On the window that appears, make a note of your computer’s name in the section with the heading, Windows Login Information. From the same window, click the button marked Change password in the lower left corner. The following window will appear.
Make sure that the two following items in the left side panel are selected: WS****** Your workstation name (as noted from above) SYR_EDU Your network account Enter your current Novell login password in the box marked Old Password and the new password in the boxes marked New Password and Confirm New Password. Click OK and you are done. This changes both the Novell password and the Windows password.
AD / Outlook / Exchange AccountThis account password is set / changed by the NetID system. When you change your NetID password it also sets your AD account. This can be done from https://selfserv.syr.edu/accounts/ Voyager System Account
Unfortunately, the Voyager software does not allow operators to change their own passwords. If you wish to have your Voyager password changed, place a request with the Help Desk by calling extension 4300 or emailing lisd@syr.edu Having trouble finding the information you need?
